Okpe Union 91st Anniversary Holds In Lagos

Okpe Union has concluded plans to hold its Cultural Day in Lagos.

The event, which also marks the 91st anniversary of Okpe Union, will have prominent Okpe sons and daughters from within and outside the country in attendance.

 “This is a great opportunity to showcase Okpe rich culture, history and unity” a statement in Sapele said.

The 91stanniversary of Okpe Union will take place on Sunday, May 16, 2021 in Okpe House, Lagos.

The statement signed by the General Secretary of Okpe Union, Barrister Kingsley Akpederin, listed public lecture, cultural performances, cultural exhibition of traditional Okpe arts and as well as honoring of prominent Okpe sons and daughters as key activities of the day.

 “We want to trigger enough interest that will make local and foreign investors toseek new opportunities for economic growth in Okpe kingdom.”
