Commendations have continued to trail the dissolution of the Delta State Executive Council by Governor Ifeanyi Okowa shortly after the Council’s meeting presided over by him on Tuesday 18th, May 2021, at Hovernment House, Asaba.
In a statement made available to newsmen in Asaba, Chairman of Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) Delta State Chapter, Comrade Emeka Umerah Bidokwu, lauded the governor for taking necessary and bold step to restructure governance for better service delivery to Deltans.
Comrade Emeka Bidokwu who doubled as the State Chairman of Action Alliance (AA) Party described the governor’s decision as a right steps in the right direction geared towards achieveming his stronger Delta mantra.
Comrade Bidokwu appreciated the governor for his all inclusive government in the past six years just as he tasked the governor to consider more youths and opposition parties in the new appointments to drive his policies and programmes.
“He has been giving political appointment before now but this time, let him give more attention to the Youths and opposition parties. Run more inclusive government. Bring in more people of like minds to achieve the stronger Delta mantra” statement concluded.
