A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State Dr Sylvester Onoyona (PhD) has appealed to party faithfuls in the state to continue to garner more supports for the party ahead of the 2023 general elections.
Dr. Onoyona who gave the appeal recently in Oleh, administrative headquarters of lsoko South Local Government Area of the state during the second edition of Music Talent Hunt, Delta Youths of Today called on party faithfuls to mobilize and participate actively in the ward and LGA congresses.
The party chieftain who posited that when possible, concensus candidates should be adopted for the party to be united also x-rayed the imperatives of unity of a political party ahead of every election.
According to him, “there is need for all stakeholders in APC to begin to work round the clock to ensure that the party clinch to power in Delta State. We must see it as a collective responsibility to ensure APC unseat PDP in the state.”
Dr Sylvester Onoyona (PhD) who has remained a bridge builder for the opposition party in Delta state appealed to all aggrieved members of the party to sheath their swords and walk towards the victories of the party in the forth coming general elections.
“We can’t win any electoral position with division but only when we are United. Let’s come together now and start rebuilding our party before it is too late to achieve meaningful Success.”
In the same vein, Dr. Onoyona who commended President Mohammed Buhari for his developmental stride, canvassed for more support for the president to achieve his mantra of change to Nigerians.
On the insecurity challenges currently confronting the nation, Dr. Onoyona disclosed that to win the war Against insecurity, everyone needs to be involved in the onslaught.
