Deltans have been urged to sustain their support and commitment to the Stronger Delta mantra of the state government.
A Special Advisers to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, Hon Daniel Yingi, made the call in Asaba in an interview with newsmen immediately after the inauguration of eight new Special Advisers in the state.
Hon Yingi, a former member of the Delta State House of Assembly stated that the support and encouragement of the people were needed at all times for development to thrive in the state.
Stressing that critical stakeholders must be on same page with the Governor in his Stronger Delta vision, Hon Yingi assured of more dividends of democracy across the state.
The former Lawmaker reminded the people that government efforts towards socioeconomic development in the state could be sustained in atmosphere of peace and harmony, even as he expressed gratitude to God for the process in the state.
Hon Yingi thanked Governor Okowa for finding him worthy to be reappointed into his cabinet as Special Adviser, and assured that he would not betray the confidence reposed on him.
He promised to continue to contribute positively to the development strides of the state government, saying that he would always bring his vast experience to bear in service to God and humanity.
Hon Yingi called on PDP faithfuls in the state not to be distracted but to remain committed to the growth of the party both at state and national levels.
