Executive Assistant to Delta State Governor on Communications, Chief Dr Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe, JP, has described Water Resources Commissioner, Hon Evelyn Oboro Esq, as a pragmatic and intelligent political Amazon.
The EAC made the assertion in Asaba on Tuesday while congratulating Oboro, over her recent appointment as Delta State Commissioner for Water Resources, saying that the new bond of friendship between them will not bow to crafty strategies of political nay sayers.
Oghenesivbe said Oboro’s enviable track record in politics is worthy of praise, considering her efforts in combining politics with studies and business, all of which had placed her far and above her contemporaries in leadership and public service.
“I duff my hat for you. Your political sagacity and super energy in driving your dreams to fruition is worthy of emulation by upcoming young female politicians in the state. You are indeed a role model.
“And while playing politics and serving the good people of Okpe, Sapele and Uvwie as well as the state, you took time off for academic classes and earned several degrees and subsequently called to Bar as a Solicitor and Advocate of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, by the Body of Benchers.
“You are one amazon that always strikes the right cord to produce perfect political rhythms, and I have no doubt in my mind that you will positively turn around the Water Resources Ministry, to met the expectations of our leader and platinum governor, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa.
“It is our expectations to see public taps flowing again with clean and portable drinking water, and am aware that you have already set in motion result oriented strategies to achieve your set goals. I can only wish you well in your new task,” Oghenesivbe said.
HCW Oboro, thanked Oghenesivbe, for believing in her potentials and capacity to deliver in her new job, and assured Deltans that she would do everything and anything within her God given power, and within available state resources to give them clean water, for both domestic and industrial uses.
“Things can only get better in the Ministry of Water Resources, and H.E the governor is passionate about getting clean water to the people. I am focused and God willing, I shall deliver in line with the Stronger Delta agenda of this administration.
“I am one of the big fans of THE PEN EAGLE, and I dare to say that you are the biggest masquerade in strategic political communication in this dispensation. Even your detractors knows your onions, and I urge you to keep the flag flying.
“It was and still a good thing that our amiable governor got you on board as his EAC.
“I salute your sagacity, courage and create writing skills. You are indeed, the best,” Oboro said.
