Ahead of the Delta State House of Assembly Isoko South 1 constituency by-election slated for September 11, 2021, a Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state Dr. Sylvester Onoyona has appealed to eligible voters in the constituency to come out en masse and cast their votes for the candidate of the Party, Dr. Ogaga Ifowodo.

Dr. Onoyona who gave the appeal through a press statement made available to newsmen in the council explained that for Isoko nation to move in the right direction, there was need for APC supporters to overwhelmingly support Ifowodo in his plan to redirect Isoko South in all areas.

Dr. Onoyona who is the party 2023 senatorial hopeful for Delta South Senatorial District posited that Ifowodo was on a vision and mission to redeem Isoko South 1 from its present neglect.

While eulogizing the candidate, Onoyona described Ifowodo as a man with unquestionable character, high intellectual competence with the clout to work for the growth and prosperity of Isoko nation through quality representation.

He encouraged all party supporters that were angry with the process that produced Dr. Ogaga Ifowodo as the party flag bearer for the DHA Isoko South 1 by-election to drop all grievances and walk towards the victory of the party in a few days from now.

“The byelection is a must win for APC, as we prepare to take over the State in 2023″. The APC Delta South Senatorial hopeful stated.

Onoyona was optimistic that if elected into the DTHA, Ifowodo would focus attention on education, standard infrastructural development and total human capital investment.

According to Onoyona “It is pertinent as it is ironical to point out that as Nigerians, we keep doing the same thing over and over while at the same time expecting to get a different result. This is a fact that only facing the truth can bring change for us.

“We must do something differently this time by rooting for a man with the intellectual capacity and administrative capability to turn around the fortunes of Isoko South from now on with meaningful legislating.

“Let the people of Isoko South understand that this is a golden opportunity presented to them to make the desired change or continue to endure another two years circle of poverty and failed promises that has trailed Isoko South for a very long time.”
