The Chairman of Sapele Local Government Area, Okakuro Eugene Inoaghan has on Tuesday September 7th, 2021 laid the foundation for more classrooms block at the Sapele Local Government Council Primary School situated at Crudas road in Sapele, Delta State.
The landmark foundation laying of classrooms signal the educational commitment of the council chairman in providing standard primary schools across the local government.
Inoaghan explained that on his assumption of office, he had a meeting with all the stakeholders including the Local Government Education Authority, requesting for an extension of blocks of classrooms at the Local Government Primary school and this was considered a priority due to the increasing population in the school.
He said, “We envisage the completion of the block of more classrooms soon, and when it is completed we can then provide more space for the increasing population and also make the environment more conducive for learning” adding that his electioneering manifesto agenda are still intact.
The council boss while thanking the state Governor, Senator Dr Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa for providing an enabling environment in the state for development said his administration will not relent on his campaign promises, urging everyone to continue the support into making Sapele greater.
The groundbreaking which kicked off at 10:00am, began with prayers by Pastor Happy Overah, the Senior pastor of Face to Face Assembly while the Site Engineer, Chucks conducted the Council boss on a tour of the project.
Others who graced the event include the Vice Chairman of the Council, Hon Vincent Ayomanor , Secretary of Council Rt Hon Felix Ayemidejor , The Council’s HPM, Mr Robinson Tuetue and a host of others.
