The member representing Udu constituency in the Delta State House of Hon Peter Uviejitobor (JP) has reassured his constituent more infrastructural development and quality representation in fulfilment of his electioneering promises to them.
The Lawmaker gave the assurance when he received a Special Award of Excellence in Nation Building and Humanitarian Service by the Board of Africa Media Journal Concept, AMJC, in Asaba, Delta state capital.
Hon. Uviejitobor who used the occasion to highlights his achievements since 2015 till date, said the people of Udu constituency could testify of his contributions to the development of the area.
According to Uviejitobor, “I have consciously affected the people’s lives positively through legislation and physical infrastructural development. Several empowerments have been carried out across the length and brength of Udu constituency. Modern school furniture taken to almost all public schools in the area”.
On the aspects of human capital development, Uviejitobor said including those in opposition party in the area have benefited from his empowerment thus far, while reaching out to more people.
While commending the organizers of the award, said the award bestowed on him will poised him to do more for his people just as he dedicated the award to God Almighty, the given of life and to his constituency.
Earlier the organizer, represented by Mrs. Frances Ugu disclosed that AMJC is a global news networking organisation, in partnership with major media agencies across the globe, and operational headquarters office in Lagos, South West Nigeria.
She noted that the award was ongoing tradition of the AMJC to encourage and appreciate those in government offices, private and cooperate organizations who carry out their duties without fear or favour in contribution to the growth of the society.
Mrs. Ugu said the award bestowed on Hon. Uviejitobor was in recognition of his contributions to developmental growth and selfless service to society, constituent and nation at large.
