Executive Committee Members of the Coalition for Media Politics, CMP, from the three senatorial districts in Delta State, will be inaugurated on Thursday December 2, 2021, at the Government House Press Centre, Asaba, beginning from 11am.
Chairman of CMP and Executive Assistant to the Governor of Delta State on Communications, Dr Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe Esq, JP, said the Honourable Speaker of Delta State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Chief Sheriff Oborevwori, and some senior government officials are expected to attend the brief but colourful event.
“All is now set for the inauguration of CMP Exco, which shall be presided over by a highly respected Catholic Priest and icon of the pulpit, Rev Fr. Dr Chris Ekabo, JP.
“The Honourable Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, JP, and some senior government officials shall witness the colourful inauguration.
“CMP main objective is to project the achievements of the state governor, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, and this administration in the traditional and social media,” the group said.
