Rotary Club Of Asaba Central Nominates Okowa’s EAC, Oghenesivbe For Distinguished Service Award.

Executive Assistant to Delta State Governor on Communications and Chairman, Coalition for Media Politics, CMP, Dr Barr. Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe, JP, has been nominated by the Board of Directors of Rotary Club of Asaba Central, for the prestigious “Distinguished Service Award-DSA.”

The nomination letter was presented to Oghenesivbe in his office at Government House, Asaba by Past Assistant District Governor, District 9141, Rotarian Ire Utieyione-Edema and the incoming President of Rotary Club of Asaba Central, Rotarian Onome Iyaruwe.

PAG Edema said the award is in recognition of Oghenesivbe’s positive contributions to the development of society through his vocation, and as a renowned communication strategist and Media Manager, spanning over two decades and still counting.

Accepting the nomination, Oghenesivbe thanked the Club for recognising his contributions to the development of society.

He said awards are the best ways to confirm and recognise individuals achievements in specific vocation or career, as well as to encourage recipients to do more.

“I am delighted to be nominated for the Distinguished Service Award. Rotary is known for service to humanity, recognised by United Nations, UN, especially for her inestimable contributions to eradication of Polio globally.

“I hope to be at the Installation ceremony, and by the grace of God, I will continue to do the needful for the socioeconomic development of society,” Oghenesivbe assured.
