Delcom 2021: CIISM To Confer Fellow Membership On Ogwezi, Obaseki, Ajibade, Ashibogwu …Eacgov Oghenesivbe Finalises Plans With The Institute.

National Council of Chartered Institute of Information and Strategy Management Ciism, will at the closing ceremony of the third edition of Delta State Strategic Communication Workshop, on Wednesday 22nd December, induct the four trainers and present to them Fellow Membership Certificates and Awards of the Institute.

A statement by State Coordinator and Executive Assistant to Delta State Governor on Communications, Olorogun Barr. Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe, JP, said Delcom 2021 Chief Trainer and Head of Department of Mass Communication, Delta State University Abraka, Dr Joyce Ogho Ogwezi, CEO of ACC Broadcast Multimedia Ltd and visiting Associate Professor to several Universities, Dr Osaro Agbonifo Pedro Obaseki, Dr Olubunmi Ajibade, Senior Lecturer, Department of Mass Communication, University of Lagos and ICT Multimedia Consultant, Dr Monday Michaels Ashibogwu, will be inducted into CIISM Hall of Fame as Fellows of the Institute with full rights and privileges, and to use fcism, after their names.

Okowa’s EAC said the fellow membership offer is in recognition of the enviable roles the individual professionals have been playing towards the growth and advancement of Journalism education and Communication strategy management in the corporate and academic spheres, facilitated by Delta State Government through the Office of the Executive Assistant (Communications) to the Governor, Eacgovdelta.

Oghenesivbe further disclosed that the ceremony will take place at Orchid Hotel, Asaba, alongside presentation of Certificate of participation at Delcom 2021 closing ceremony on Monday 22nd December, adding that the Honourable Commissioner for Information, Hon Charles Ehiedu Aniagwu with present Delcom certificate to participants while the National President of CIISM, Dr Peter Mrakpor, SAN, will present Fellow Membership Certificates to the inductees.

“Delcom 2021 trainers will be duly honoured for their outstanding service to humanity by the Chartered Institute of Information and Strategy Management, CIISM. They will be inducted into the Institute’s prestigious hall of fame.

“It’s going to be a brief must unique ceremony that shall be witnessed by participants and dignitaries at the closing ceremony of DELCOM 2021 on Wednesday 22nd December, at Orchid Hotel beginning from 4pm.

“Government of Delta State and Eacgovdelta deeply appreciate our trainers which was why we had to facilitate the fellow membership as one of the ways we can truly express our love and gratitude for their partnership with Delcom and their enviable contributions to the growth and advancement of Journalism education and communication strategy management in Nigeria.

“Delcom is making tremendous progress and we hope to take a step further next year to partner with the International Press Centre, United States Information Service, USIS, and UNESCO, to feature world class trainers during DELCOM 2022. The vision will be sustained even after this administration,” Oghenesivbe said.

Delta State Governor, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, will on Monday 20th December, flag off Delcom 2021 at 9am in Asaba.

The governor will be accompanied to the ceremony by some members of the state executive council, party leaders and senior government officials including; Secretary to Delta State Government, Chief Patrick Ukah,fnipr, Head of Service, Reginald Bayoko, mni, JP, Chief of Staff, Rt Hon Festus Ovie Agas, Honourable Commissioner for Information, Hon Charles Aniagwu, fnipr, Chief Economic Adviser to the Governor, Dr Kingsley Emu, Spiritual Father of the Day, Rev Fr. Chris Ekabo, JP, Permanent Secretary, Government House, Sir Eddie Ogidi-Gbegbaje, Manager Communication – Government House, Hon Jackson Ekwugum, to mention but a few.aqqa
