2023: Accord Party, The Only Vehicle To Rescue Nigeria-Naladu

As the 2023 general elections draw closer with various political parties battling for the number one citizen position in Nigeria and wooing of eligible voters to support them to victories, the National Chairman of the Accord Party Hon. Muhammad Lawal Naladu has called on Nigerians to see accord as the only purposeful vehicle to drive them out of the socio-economic quagmire the Buhari led APC government has plugged them into.

Hon. Naladu who disclosed this to Journalists on Friday 13th January, 2022 at the Inter-Party Advisory Committee (IPAC) Delta State chapter election held in Asaba, the State capital, also barred his mind on other national issues that where of great importance to the socio-economic well been of Nigerians.

Hon. Naladu who was a two time former national Chairman of IPAC, berated the Buhari led government for being insensitive to the plights of Nigerians ranging from insecurity, econmic hardships among others being faced by everyone.

Naladu who lamented about the failed electoral promised made by the APC in 2015 and 2019 respectively, appealed to Nigerians not to entrust failed parties with their votes saying that the era of APC and PDP has elapsed, and the Accord party is the only party to redeem the country.

While scoring his party high for being the people’s party for years, explained that the party has produced great Politicians especially in the legislature.

“Accord party registered with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) in 2006, has produced senators, house of representatives members, state houses of assemblies across the country and the party is still determine to take over presidency come next year. The party is working round the clock to ensure we pursue this dream to the end. We have mapped out strategies to achieve this and I want to assure Nigerians to trust the Accord party to redeem the nation.

On the issue of the amended electoral bill that President Buhari declined assent to, the Accord national Chairman Hon. Naladu said, president Buhari should expurge the the clause of direct primary election and assent to the bill.

According to him, “I am among million of Nigerians that want electronic transmission of electoral results and President Buhari should consider the yearnings of Nigerians towards that.

While commending the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for improvement in the electoral process over the years, Naladu however urged the national electoral umpire to continue to adopt modern technologies that would help deepen the nation’s democratic process.
