A coalition of student leaders in Delta state named Augoye Students Support Group has joined residents of Asaba, the Delta State capital to carry out this month’s environmental sensitization exercise in some strategic locations across the State capital.
The group in a press statement addressed by one of the leaders of the students team, Comr. Toju said that the action of the students support group for Chief James Augoye was a demonstration of the students group keying into the GREATER Delta state agenda of the Urhobo born grassroots politician and two times Commissioner for works whom the students group are drumming support for to emerge as the Governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) come 2023.
“Much like charity begins at home, sanitation and hygiene begins with me and you. James Augoye is an ambassador of a clean and hygienic environment, His drive for infrastructural development is a clear statement of action that our environment must remain developed and clean at all times.
“In an attempt to propagate the Greater Delta agenda of Chief James Augoye come 2023, the Augoye Students team, is geared up for the preaching a cleaner Delta by leading with great Example.
“We therefore call on all Deltans to key into this project and ensure that the state is clean at all times,” Toju stated.
