It was an atmosphere of joy and conviviality at the palace of the Okobaro of Ughievwen Kingdom, HRM (Dr.) Matthew Ediri Egbi, JP, FoD, AMNSE, RDN, Owahwa II, as the revered monarch confered chieftaincy titles on four illustrious Indigenes of the Kingdom.
The Okobaro of Ughievwen Kingdom, HRM (Dr.) Matthew Ediri Egbi, JP, FoD, AMNSE, RDN, Owahwa II, said the chieftaincy titles were in recognition of the selfless contributions of the beneficiaries to the peace, unity and development of the kingdom.
Those confered with chieftaincy titles by the Okobaro are Olorogun Clifford Okeh, Olorogun Daniel Okori, Olorogun Helen Bighoro and Olorogun Francess Bighoro.
The monarch urged them to be good ambassadors of Ughievwen Kingdom and custodians of peace in their domains.
The Okobaro of Ughievwen Kingdom, HRM (Dr.) Matthew Ediri Egbi, JP, FoD, AMNSE, RDN, Owahwa II, commended Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for his development efforts in Ughievwen Kingdom and pledged the continued support of the people to his administration to enable him finish strong.
In an interview, the newly chiefs, Olorogun Clifford Okeh, Olorogun daniel Okori, Olorogun Helen Bighoro and Olorogun Francess Bighoro thanked the Okobaro for the honour and noting that it will spur them to do more for the kingdom.
The new chiefs were received by other Chiefs in Ughievwen Kingdom with the popular Emma dance.
Olorogun Clifford Okeh, was confered with the title “Iroro of Ughievwen Kingdom, Olorogun Daniel Okori, bagged thee Emo gho ko Ovie of Ughievwen Kingdom, Olorogun Helen Bighoro was confered with rhe Ododorere of Ughievwen while Olorogun Francess Bighoro was confered with Erhuvwuwu erere of Ughievwen kingdom.
