Okowa’s EAC To Speak On Gender Equality As UN Celebrates Women’s Day.

Executive Assistant to Delta State Governor on Communications and Chairman, Coalition for Media Politics and Governance, CMPG, Chief Barr Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe, is expected to be special guest of honour cum resource person at the International Women’s Day event, jointly organised by a nongovernmental organisation, Save the Girl Child Advocacy Africa in conjunction with Pax Bonum Foundation for the Needy.

Organisers of the event said discussants shall focus on the challenges women are facing in the public sector and in the corporate world, and in the same token recommend solutions that will break the bias, so as to attain gender equality in the 21st century.

Oghenesivbe, who is a member of the Political Communication and Human Rights Committee of the America Political Science Association, APSA, will among other things, do a comparative analysis on gender equality and the way forward.

The event will hold on 8th March, 2022, at the board room of the organisers ,in Abraka, Ethiope East LGA, beginning from 10am.
