The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Burutu local government area Mr Ebike Oromoni, has said that his people will support frontline Delta State aspirant for the 2023 governorship race Senator Emmanuel Aguariavwodo . Mr Oromoni said this on Tuesday March Ist, 2022, when Senator Aguariavwodo paid a consultative visit to the statutory delegates of the PDP from the lga.
Mr Ebike Oromoni who was speaking at the Warri Club, Warri, Delta State on behalf of the delegates said that “you have the support of the Burutu people and you will get our support when the time comes,” further saying “we will give you our block votes “
Speaking further, Mr Ebike Oromoni said that the delegates from Burutu local government area are united people and they will stand on one voice to choose a candidate, he however advised Senator Emmanuel to pray that when decision on who to become the next governor of Delta State was discussed, that his name would be mentioned and that with God on his side he would emerge as the next governor.
Senator Emmanuel Aguariavwodo on his part had earlier addressed the delegates saying that he will transform the communities in the riverine area and ensure massive infrastructural development in the area.
Senator Emmanuel speaking accordingly said that he was part of those who made provisions in the Niger Delta Development Commission Act which has benefitted the people from the Niger Delta region
Continuing, Senator Emmanuel Aguariavwodo said that the cry of the Niger Delta people has always been his cry and that various projects design in areas of shore protection, roads, concrete, roads, jetties, were made during his time and are still in the NDDC till date.
When it is time to choose who becomes the next governor of Delta State, please vote for me, support me to become the party’s candidate, “I am experienced,I have the ability and I most capable to follow the Governor Ifeanyi Okowa path and continue with the massive infrastructural development that Governor Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa has started, Aguariavwodo stated.
