Okowa’s Delta Widows Welfare Scheme Is A Huge Success – Eacgov Oghenesivbe …Eulogies Elder Okonta On His Birthday Anniversary Celebration.

Executive Assistant to Delta Governor on Communications, Barr Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe, JP, has congratulated the Coordinator of Delta Widows Welfare Programme, Elder Dr Isioma Okonta, on the occasion of his birth anniversary, describing him as a reliable, trusted and dependable core member of Okowa Political Dynasty.

The Eacgov in his goodwill message made available to newsmen in Asaba, said Elder Okonta has taken the Widows welfare programme to a higher dimension; as can be seen from the ongoing partnership with the World Bank D-CARES Livelihood Support Unit, and for ensuring that the monthly stipends and other packages released by the governor and the state government gets to all widows captured in the programme as at when due.

Oghenesivbe commended Elder Isioma’s leadership capacity and for championing some of the major political movements in Delta North, more particularly in Ika Nation which has helped in no small measures in expanding the scope of political and visionary leadership of the state governor, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa.

He urged the astute politician and grassroots mobilizer not to rest in his oars but to keep the flag flying till 2023 and beyond.

“The successful implementation of the State Widows Welfare Programme of His Excellency, the Governor attests to your capacity to get things done, especially for ensuring that beneficiaries captured in the welfare scheme across the three senatorial districts get their monthly packages without discrimination.

“Your unwavering commitment in the propagation of Okowa Political Philosophy is commendable and I urge you to intensify your efforts as we work collectively together to ensure that our boss, the Governor, finish strong on May 29, 2023, before taking up higher responsibilities at the national leadership stage.
