The member representing the Warri South West Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Honourable Dennis Emomotimi Guwor, has declared his intention to seek reelection to the House to enable him consolidate the gains he has recorded so far.
Guwor made the declaration when he led his campaign train and supporters on a consultative visit to the leadership and ward structures of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Warri South West Local Governnent Area.
The Legislator, who was received by the LGA executive of the party, thanked the people for their support for him at the State Assembly, which had enabled him to serve them to the best of his ability through the sponsorship of people-oriented bills and motions.
Guwor, who is the Chairman House Committee on DESOPADEC, pointed out that in addition to sponsoring bills and motions, he had also influenced various projects to the wards in his Constituency.
He listed some of his achievements to include purchase of JAMB forms for indigent students, award of scholarship, construction of roads, provision of 1000KVA generators to communities without electricity supply, provision of fishing materials and boats to the various wards, construction of classroom blocks, among others.
Guwor attributed the delay in the completion of some ongoing projects to the COVID 19 pandemic and the high cost of materials, promising that the projects would receive attention after they had been reviewed.
Speaking on behalf of the PDP Ward Chairmen, Apostle Preye Koremene thanked Honourable Guwor for his good work and urged him to do more when given the opportunity.
For his part, the Chairman of PDP, Warri South West Local Government Area, Chief Favour Izoukumor, thanked Guwor for the visit, assuring him and other aspirants of a level playing ground.
The consultative visit was climaxed with a prayer by the party for the success of Honourable Guwor’s political aspiration, as well as a question and answer session.
