It is common knowledge that the Provisional Clearance Certificate of the leading governorship aspirant under the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Delta State, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, was criminally faked by promoters and supporters of unpopular governorship aspirants.
The said fake certificate and other unverified documents were widely circulated on social media and online newspapers by those who strongly believe that Rt Hon Oborevwori was becoming a major threat to their self centered governorship ambitions.
However, their collective efforts and dubious attempt to dent the enviable reputation, sparkling personality, integrity and hard earned political pedigree of Rt Hon Oborevwori, fell like a huge log before the Axe.
It is therefore very important to disclose that the Sheriffied crooner and incoming governor of Delta State, come 2023, Rt Hon Oborevwori, was the first to receive his provisional clearance certificate when it was the turn of Delta Guber Aspirants in Port Harcourt on Thursday, and in his usual humble nature decided to keep it to himself while attending to legion of support groups from across the state, as well as responding to important state functions.
It was the unintentional delay in releasing the certificate to the public that gave his detractors the undue audacity and political rascality to criminally forge several fake Provisional Clearance Certificates and published same via social media platforms and online newspapers in a dubious attempt to ridicule the enviable personality of Mr Speaker. They failed woefully and they shall continue to fail.
It is therefore glaring, and at the same time a statement of fact that Oborevwori is widely believed to be governor Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa’s successor in 2023, due to his enviable popularity, competence, humility, forthrightness and capacity to build on the monumental achievements of Okowa administration.
The foreseeable victory of Mr Speaker at the Guber primaries is the reason why his detractors and promoters of unpopular governorship aspirants decided to focus on him 24 hours nonstop. Their evil plans notwithstanding, the Pan Delta governorship project shall prevail triumphantly.
On the issue of different names on his academic certificates and documents being misinterpreted by detractors, it is true that Mr Speaker’s full names are; Rt Hon Oborevwori Sheriff Francis Orohwedor. And it is a matter of choice for him to popularise Sheriff far and above his other names – Francis Orokwedor.
Orohwedor is the native Okpe name, Sheriff Francis the English names while Oborevwori the surname. These names are glaring in his academic certificates build up spanning several decades and it is indeed highly commendable.
Therefore, his names are not in contention whatsoever as falsely canvassed by his political opponents and promoters of unpopular governorship aspirants in Delta State, in the ongoing political and leadership contest.
As you read this piece, the Sheriffied family across the 25 local government areas in the State have intensified their door to door campaign to reach out to all delegates across the three senatorial districts; to further educate them on the need to have the best candidate as PDP flag bearer.
And the best in this dispensation to succeed our amiable Platinum Governor, is the Sheriffied Pan Delta crooner and incoming governor of Delta State, Rt Hon Oborevwori, the Ukodo of Okpe Kingdom and Deputy National Chairman, Conference of Speakers of States Legislatures in Nigeria.
I present to you the authentic mother of all Provisional Clearance Certificates in Delta State, issued on Thursday 28th April 2022 to Rt Hon Oborevwori Sheriff Francis Orohwedor, by the Governorship Aspirants Screening Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chaired by the Governor of Bayelsa State, His Excellency, Senator Duoye Diri.
