The Ndokwa West (LGA) Legislative Arm has congratulated the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, on his emergence as the governorship flag bearer of the PDP in Delta State, for the 2023 general elections, describing the Speaker as an enigmatic leader and strong pillar with immense influence.
The legislative arm equally commended
Prince Ned Nwoko, for his emergence as the Delta North senatorial candidate, Nnamdi Ezechi, for Ndokwa/Ukwuani federal constituency and, Hon. Charles Emetulu for Ndokwa West state constituency.
In a press statement endorsed by the leader of the house, Hon. Ndubuisi Okoloafor and made available to journalists in Kwale, described the emergence of Prince Ned Nwoko as a manifestation of his years of personal commitment, sacrifice, tenancy, political experience and services to the people.
The legislative arm expressed confidence that the PDP standard bearer for Ndokwa/Ukwuani federal constituency, Hon. Ezechi has the capacity, acumen and sagacity to mobilize support across the length and breath of the consistency to give the ruling party a resounding victory at the forthcoming general elections.
He also expressed optimism that when eventually re-elected as member representing the Ndokwa West constituency, Hon. Emetulu will bring to bear his vast wealth of experience and network to attract more democratic dividends to the people.
“We thanked God for the emergence of the PDP candidates for the various positions. As leaders we urged them to work together to achieve all round success at the general elections so that they can hit the ground running and build on the successes of governor Ifeanyi Okowa-led administration in the state.”
He said the Speaker has proven that he is able and capable to lead the state and continues with SMART agenda of governor Okowa.
While commending governor Okowa for providing leadership and guidance that led to the enthronement of transparent internal democratic process which resulted in the successful conduct of the
hitch free primaries in the state, urged other aspirants, party stalwarts and faithful to rally round the flag bearers to ensure victory at the 2023 polls.
The legislators equally commended the Ndokwa West LGA, chairman Chief Goddey Obi-Nzete for his peaceful and transparent leadership especially during the primary elections by ensuring unity of purpose amongst party members.
“The successful conduct of the primaries is an indication that PDP is rock solid, resolute and formidable more than ever before and is poised for greater exploits. Delta state PDP members have shown candor and character in the quality of leadership, maturity and commitment displayed by both delegates and aspirants throughout the process of the primaries.”
