The youthful Taker Driver, who averted a major petroleum fire disaster at Agbarho in Ughelli North local government area, Mr Ejiro Otarigho has been commended for his uncommon disposition to the lives of others.
The Member Representing Ughelli North 2 Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon (Prince) Eric Oharisi gave the commendation in a statement on the incident.
The Lawmaker stated that every honored done Mr Otarigho, including the one from the Delta State Government and that proposed by the National Assembly is well deserved as Ejiro shown uncommon patriotism to the nation.
Hon Oharisi explained that Mr Otarigho indeed averted what could have been a major fire incident in his constituency but for his bravery lives and property were saved.
Expressing gratitude to God and appreciation to Mr Otarigho, the Ughelli North Lawmaker stressed that the heroism exhibited by Ejiro was worthy of emulation as everyone must live for each other.
He said Mr Otarigho would be remembered for his love for the people, saying that he is a good ambassador of Ughelli North 2 constituency and would be accorded deserved respect.
Hon Oharisi prayed God to avert similar incident in the state, pointing out that the state would have been mourning, but for the uncommon bravery of Ejiro Otarigho.
“ I must commend Mr Ejiro Otarigho for averting major disaster in my constituency. His action is indeed unique and should be commended for his love for others. I commend his zeal to save lives. He put his life in danger to save others. God will bless him. I know more honours will come his way as he deserves all the accolades”, Oharisi stated.
