Members of the Neighborhood to Neighborhood have congratulated the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly and State PDP Governorship Candidate, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori on his victory at the Appeal Court, Abuja, on Monday, August 29th, 2022.
The National Coordinator of the group, Mr J. Adiotomre in a press statement on behalf of members of the group, expressed excitement about the Appeal Court Judgement given in favour of the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly.
According to the Statement, ” We the entire members of the Neighborhood to Neighborhood were so excited on Monday, August 22nd, 2022 when the Appeal Court, Abuja ruled in favour of the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori who scored 590 votes to pick up the Delta State PDP Governorship ticket in the Wednesday, May 25th, 2022 gubernatorial primaries held in the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba. The Judgement given in favour of the Delta State PDP Governorship Candidate was a welcome development and we are so happy about it”.
“We wish to congratulate Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori who is also the National Deputy Chairman of the Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures of Nigeria on his resounding victory at the Appeal Court, Abuja. We want to let the world know that we are so glad that the Appeal Court Judgement was given in favour of the long serving Speaker in the history of the Delta State House of Assembly and we have hit the ground running long ago to ensure his victory at the general elections next year”, Mr J. Adiotomre said.
He added that; ” The victory of the Delta State PDP Governorship Candidate, Rt Hon Oborevwori at the Appeal Court, Abuja is for all Deltans and all hands should be on deck now to work for his victory at the general elections next year as Delta State has always been PDP State. We at the Neighborhood to Neighborhood have started moving round the state long ago on sensitization of Deltans on the need to elect Rt Hon Oborevwori, a man with excessive local content as the next Governor of Delta State and we will keep on doing our best to ensure his victory at the 2023 general elections”.
“Once again, we hereby congratulate the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly and State PDP Governorship Candidate on his victory at the Appeal Court, Abuja and to stress that we are fully committed to ensure his victory at the general polls next year.
