Coalition for Media Politics and Governance, CMPG, has again described the group’s Convener and immediate past Executive Assistant on Communications to former Governor of Delta State, Olorogun Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe Esq, as a seasoned top class professional in media management and communication strategy, who over the years mentored several upcoming professionals in Delta State and beyond.
The foremost media pressure group made the commendation in a goodwill message jointly signed by Acting Chairman, Engr. Emmanuel Mormah Chuks, Deputy Chairman South, Mr Robinson Ekengbuda, and State Publicity Secretary, Hon. Onajite Malcolm Tagbarha, FHNR, to celebrate the nomination of Dr Oghenesivbe, as the most performing media personality in Political Communication Strategy and Media Politics, by the Editorial Board of Top Flyers Magazine, an Abuja based international publication.
The group said Oghenesivbe has been a rallying point and professional father figure to many practitioners in the mainstream and new media community, and effectively coordinated the training and capacity building communication workshops for government appointees and media partners from during Okowa’s administration.
The media pressure group noted that he worked very hard with his media partners to successfully keep the mass media space safe for good governance to strive in Delta State, by doggedly neutralizing misinformation, negative media propaganda targeted at government and the governor, while projecting government policies, programmes and achievements.
CMPG described the Top Flyers Award nomination as yet another apple evidence of Oghenesivbe’s professional expertise and recognition in the media and communication industry in Nigeria, while urging him not to relent in his positive efforts and tenacious determination to achieve greater heights in the industry, going forward.
