Members of the Councillors forum Old Okpe Local Government Area Comprising present day Okpe, Uvwie and Udu Local Government Areas have called on Deltans to close ranks and support the administration of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori to succeed.
Coordinator of Councillors forum Old Okpe Local Government Area, 1996 set Chief Francis Oyovwikigho Okan and others Councillors Chief Johnbull Asun Justin Akporhagbare Barr Victor Efurievwe and Henry Omufere. who made this known while reviewing activities of government in Nigeria stated that Delta State Governor Rt, Hon Sheriff Oborevwori through his MORE Agenda has given hope to Residents in the state.
Chief Okan who listed the construction of three flyovers in Warri and Effurun metropolis alongside the Expansion of the DSC expressway down to Effurun roundabout into 8 lane noted that these projects coupled with the administration’s drive to urbanise Warri were key to the the advancement of Delta State.
Chief Okan maintained that the State Governor Rt, Hon Oborevwori right from his days who doubled as a Councellor and a Supervisor for Works $ Housing showed strong commitment towards enhancement of the fortunes of his constituency and revealed that till date even as Governor of the State Rt, Honorable Oborevwori has not derailed in his promises to Deltans.
He called on those who lost out during the March 18,2023 Governorship Election to join hands with the State Governor in moving the state forward stressing that the Court cases were more or less like distractions.
