A two day free medical outreach begins on Monday, 20th November, in Warri South West local government area of Delta State.
The free health programme is to commemorate the 40th birth anniversary of the wife of the Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly, Mrs Timiebi Emomotimi Guwor.
A statement by the organizers, says the free medical service which ends on Tuesday 21st November, is programmed to hold at various locations across the wards in Warri South West Constituency to achieve total coverage of the area.
Official flag off of the event is scheduled for Monday at Ogbe-Ijoh, headquarters of Warri Southwest local government council, at 10 o’clock in the morning.
Wife of the State Governor, Deaconess Tobore Oborevrwori, is expected at the ceremony as Special Guest of Honour, while the State Commissioner for Health, Dr Joseph Onojaeme, is the Guest of Honour.
The statement also named the Speaker, Delta State Assembly, Rt Hon Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, who represents Warri South West Constituency in the House, as Chief Host, and the Chairman, Warri South West Local Government Council, Taiye Tuoyo, as Host, to be supported by eminent personalities in the Constituency.
It adds that in collaboration with the Delta State Ministry of Health, a team of Consultants, Doctors and other Health Workers, have been assembled to see to the successful implementation of the planned health programme.
The organizers enjoined the general public, particularly indigenes and residents of Warri South West local government area to avail themselves the opportunity provided by the two day Free Medical Outreach to attend to their health needs.
