Executive Assistant on Communication and Orientation to Delta State Governor, Dr Barr Wilfred Latimore Oghenesivbe, has commended foremost Urhobo leader and founding member of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Dr Ighoyota Amori, for his visionary leadership and amazing academic accomplishments.
The commendation was contained in his congratulatory message to Senator Dr Amori, on the occasion of his academic doctorate degree in Environmental Geology, awarded by the Senate of the University of Benin, on Saturday November 25.
Oghenesivbe said Dr Amori’s academic accomplishment is a strong message to some of our youth who believe that education is a Scam, adding that acquisition of sound academic certificates guarantees brighter future and a special place in the political milieu, because education remained the bedrock of sustainable socioeconomic and human capital development of every nation.
He posited that Dr Amori, has been and will always be a role model for aspiring leaders and those who want to be well grounded in business, academics and leadership in the political milieu.
In the same vein, Oghenesivbe congratulated the candidate of PDP for Ethiope West State Constituency in the 2023 House of Assembly election, Pastor Chris Onogba, over his victory at the Court of Appeal, saying that the much foreseeable rerun election is now staring us in the face.
Oghenesivbe appealed to all leaders and party faithfuls in Ethiope West to work round the clock to ensure that Onogba reclaimed his mandate which was manipulated by PDP detractors during the 2023 election.
“I congratulate our esteemed leader and Distinguished Senator, Dr Ighoyota Amori, over his multifaceted academic accomplishments, including the Award of doctorate degree in Environmental Geology of the University of Benin.
“You are indeed a role model in all ramifications to aspiring leaders in the political milieu. Our youth now look at you in the face and say, ‘if Chief Amori can read so hard to bag a doctorate degree, I can too.’ Thank you for being a shinning light for Urhobo Nation, Delta State, and our great nation and party, PDP.
Permit me to use this medium and opportunity to also congratulate Pastor Chris Onogba, over his victory at the Court of Appeal.
“You are obviously a clay in the hands of God, and your political career is being shaped by Jehovah Elohim, who you serve with your whole heart. The rerun shall end in praise, and God alone will take all the Glory.
“I wish our esteemed leader, Dr Amori and his political son, Pastor Onogba, the very best of luck, greater accomplishments and good health, now and always.” Oghenesivbe prayed.
