Funkekeme Dedicates Integrity Group Award to Gov. Oborevwore, Deltans

The Senior Policy Adviser to Governor Sheriff Oborevwore, Rt. Hon. Funkekeme Solomon has bagged an impactful leadership award just as he was invested as a patron of Integrity Group of Delta state.

Speaking during the award ceremony in his office, Funkekeme expressed delights on Integrity Group of Delta state for creating a platform to support governor Sheriff Oborevwore’s administration, noting that God did not make a mistake in making Oborevwore the governor of Delta state.

“Gratitude is an application to do more work. Consistency in politics is very important in politics. My area of assignment is to ensure that services are effective in the state. The award given to me is dedicated to governor Sheriff Oborevwore and the entire Deltans for supporting the PDP led government in the state.”

Earlier, Convener and Chairman of the Integrity Group of Delta state, Dr. Oke Idawene advanced the reasons why the socio-political group was established.

Idawene stated that the Integrity Group was founded to propagate the policy and programmes of governor Sheriff Oborevwore administration as encapsulated on his MORE agenda and You Matter Charity Foundation of the first lady.

He said: “in the politics of Delta state Rt. Hon. Funkekeme Solomon is one of the strong faces — his role in bringing governor Sheriff Oborevwore to office is well known to all Deltans. The primary aim of Integrity Group is to promote the MORE agenda across all the 25 LGAs in the state and beyond.

“We are here to unveil you as our father because your role as Senior Policy Adviser is to help the governor to succeed in his MORE agenda to all Deltans. We are here to encourage you to succeed in your task. We are presenting you with an award of impactful leadership in honour of your services and in the implementation of MORE agenda.”
