Civic Actors from Urhobo land pledges support for Pipeline Infrastructure Nigeria Limited (PINL)

To engage the coy for the greater good of Urhobo Young People, Peace building and the Environment

Civic Actors in Urhobo land have pledged their support for Pipeline Infrastructure Nigeria Limited (PINL) commending them for raising the stakes in civic engagement and citizens empowerment.

The actors thanked Pipeline Infrastructure Nigeria Limited (PINL) for the opportunities given to Urhobo Young People in theIr Peace efforts to strengthen citizens empowerment and peace building in the Niger Delta Region. They stated that no other security company dealing in the Niger Delta have deemed it fit to consider civic actors in Urhobo land.

They further requested for more opportunities for civic actors across Urhobo land and the Niger Delta pleading not to betray the confidence reposed on them by Pipeline Infrastructure Nigeria Limited (PINL).

The civic actors stated that the pursuit of peace building, environmental protection, advancing climate action and citizens empowerment is a duty for all persons of good will and calls on Pipeline Infrastructure Nigeria Limited (PINL) to continually advance these pursuits in Nigeria especially in Urhoboland and Delta State. They stated further that the rising economic hardship in Nigeria is worrisome and that only responsible organizations like PINL can help cushion the effects through the Cooperate Social Responsibility (CSR) engagements. They called for PINL massive promotion of the global goals, the Sustainable Development Goals through the Group for the good of Deltans, the Niger Delta and the Nigeria Nation.

Conclusively, they stated that PINL is second to none in the region as they have distinguished themselves in their Pipeline Security engagements in the region giving greater sense of belonging and participation to more people including civic and civil and civil society actors.

Speaking on behalf of the civic actors at a meeting in Agbarah, Ughelli North yesterday were Comrade David Dawson Otor from Okpe Kingdom who is the founding Coordinator of the Delta State Citizens Engagement and Civil Society Volunteers (DCECSV), Activist Oghenekevwe George from Evwreni currently the Deputy Coordinator of the Group as well as Activist John Izobo from Agbarah and Comrade Joseph Osademe from Orogun former coordinators of the group.
