Delta State PDP Assistant/ Central Senatorial Woman Leader Hon Chief Dora Afonughe Sakpaide (JP) has congratulated the newly and elected and sworn inn Chairmen, vice and councillors on their victories on the just concluded local Government Elections held across the state on Saturday, July 13, 2024.
In a congratulatory message the woman leader Central described the victory as well deserved and thanked DSIEC for conducting a free, fair, and credible elections.
While commending the security agencies especially the police for providing a peaceful atmosphere under which the elections were held, lauded residents of the state for their overwhelmingly supports for the PDP’s landslide victories across the state.
She said, “let me first thank Deltans for coming out in their large numbers to vote despite the heavy downpour on Saturday morning across the state. This shown a high level of believe and support for the party across board.
Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has also demonstrated that yes, he is a promise keeper. He actually promised Deltans peaceful, Free, fair and acceptable polls, truly fulfilled his promise.
While congratulating the chairmen and vice, the PDP Delta Central woman leader Sakpaide urged them not to betray the confidence entrusted them rather build on the MORE AGENDA of His Excellency, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori in their various LGAs.
The woman also emphasized the need for them to operate an open door policies, humble and deliver people’s oriented projects to the people at the grassroot, she harped on financial Probity.
