Azu Emerges Leader Of Sapele Legislative Arm **Seeks Team Work To Advance Council

Councilor Representing Ward 18, Sapele Local Government Council Rt Hon. Samuel Azu has emerged leader of the 8th legislative arm of the council.

Azu, a second term house member, from Amuokpokpor-Elume community, Sapele LGA was elected among his colleagues after the Council Chairman Chief Hon. Abeke Bright Afure read the proclamation letter to inaugurate the house amidst wide jubilations from party faithful, friends and family members at the legislative complex in Sapele, Delta state.

In his acceptance speech, Azu appreciated God for the opportunity given to serve and pledged his total loyalty to the house.

He noted that he will remain a servant leader as the privilege given him would not be abused rather to add value and attract honour to the legislative arm of the council.

“I am just first among equals. We will continue to work together, synergize to make Sapele great. We will work as a team to achieve the set goals while initiating new ones in the days ahead”

The grassroot leader used the opportunity to appreciate leaders of the party for their supports just as he pledged not to betray the confidence entrusted him and others with.
