Delta @33: Obukohwo, DG Integrity Group, Diaspora Chapter, Dedicates Award to Deltans

A renowned Clinical Psychologist who is also the Director General of the Integrity Group of Delta State, Diaspora chapter, Dr. Obukohwo Uwanogho has dedicated his recent Peace Legend Award to the people of Delta state.
Dr. Obukohwo was among 50 personalities bestowed with the prestigious 13 edition of Peace Legend Award put together as part of activities to celebrate 33 anniversary of the creation of Delta state. He was honoured for his contributions to the development of the state and services to humanity.
According to a statement in reaction to the recent award which took place in Asaba, the Delta state capital, Obukohwo noted that he was delighted to be chosen among 50 individuals to be honoured with the prestigious award, describing it as moral booster.
While dedicating the award to the entire people of Delta state, he promised to continue to serve humanity even as he vowed to continue to mobilize the diasporans in support of governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s MORE agenda.
“The 13 edition of the Peace Legend Awardees of this year’s grand event were drawn from all walks of life including entertainment, academia, business, banking, media, politics, professional groups and organized labour. I considered myself as privileged to have been chosen for this award and I thank the Founder Peace Legend Awards International, Mr Jesse Osero Amiri and his team for the honour done on me.” He stated.
Obukohwo who was born in Ughelli to Chief Michael Amereka Uwanogho from Eku and Lt. Col. (Rtd.), Felicia Etaverho Uwanogho from Ughelli, is an alumnus of Federal Government College Warri and a graduate of Political Science – University of Ibadan.
He has an MBA/MIM from the University of St. Thomas (Minnesota); M.Ed in Community Counselling from the University of Houston-Victoria (Texas); and a PhD in Clinical Psychology.
He who splits time as a practicing Psychologist in both the US and Canada, is an accomplished Commercial Integrated Farmer, erudite scholar, philanthropist, writer, teacher and mentor.
One thing that is incontrovertible is the fact that Dr. Obukohwo Uwanogho loves his state – Delta state and a believer in Dr. Sheriff Oborevwori’s M.O.R.E agenda which has also earned him the Director General of the Integrity Group of Delta State, Diaspora chapter, platform he uses to coordinate support for Oborevwori’s administration.
