NIDOA Celebrates Delta Born Dr Ubani With Outstanding Citizen In Leadership Award

An America based Medical Practitioner and Philanthropist, Dr Victor Azuka Ubani has been honoured with “Outstanding Citizen in Leadership Award” by Nigerians In Diaspora Organization Americas, NIDOA, Atlanta Chapter.

Dr Ubani was honoured alongside others in recognition of his commitment and unwavering dedication for better society, during an event organized by the Atlanta Chapter of NIDOA to mark Nigeria’s 64th Independence anniversary, held at Rendezvous Lounge, Pleasanthill, Duluth, Atlanta Georgia, USA.

NIDOA also highlighted that the award on Ubani was for inspiring others through dedication and vision as well as demonstration of exceptional leadership qualities and commitment to community service exemplifying the true spirit of citizenship.

The Delta State born Ubani is the President/CEO of Southeast Healthcare and President Azuka & Ify Foundation, a US based charity organization which believes that health is wealth, and that every child should have the opportunity to learn and go to school.

The Foundation has been involved in a wide variety of projects and humanitarian work globally.

His Southeast Healthcare LLC, specializes in innovative quality care that exceeds the needs of his clients.

Dr Ubani is also the President/CEO of Welleagle Medical Center Lagos, Nigeria, the current Chairman, Board of Trustees NIDOA and Worldwide Coordinating Chairman of NIDO.

Born in Nigeria, where he received his primary and secondary education before leaving for the USA, Dr Victor Ubani got his First Degree and Masters from American Sentinel University in Colorado and Doctorate in Business Administration from California Intercontinental University.

He has received numerous awards including, Saint George’s leadership and humanitarian award.

Flanked by his lovely wife, Dr Joy Ubani, the elated Dr Victor Ubani thanked the Atlanta Chapter of NIDOA for bestowing him with the “Outstanding Citizen in Leadership Award” on the day of celebration of 64th Independence anniversary of Nigeria by Nigerians in diaspora.

He pledged to continue to drive the programmes of NIDO for a better Nigeria, even as he commended members of the organization for their selfless services to the society.

The event was attended by personalities across the globe, including Mr Nkem Nwaeke, the Chief Press Secretary to the Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly and National Treasurer, Conference of Speakers of State Houses of Assembly in Nigeria, and wife, Mrs Mary Efekhoba Nwaeke, amongst others.

 

There were also presentation of awards to other great men and women of Nigeria and US dual citizenship by the organization at the event.
