Convener, Integrity Group of Delta State, Dr. Oke Idawene has congratulated the former Governor of Delta State, Dr. Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan, as he celebrates his 70th birthday.
In a birthday tributes titled, “Happy Birthday To A Father” signed by Dr. Oke Idawene, he described Uduaghan as a worthy leader who is endowed with wisdom.
“An encourager, His Excellency, Dr. Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan Uduaghan, the Asamaigor of the Universe. Daddy I wish you a beautiful happy happy birthday. Age with enough steez.. grace. You have touched lives. You are blessed sir. Exactly 10 years ago during my Social Democratic Party (SDP) days, I remember when you hosted us, took care of us. I invited HRM, Olu Falae, CFR GCON, Former SGF and Minister of Finance on two day working visit to Delta State.
“As State Chairman then I brought Baba Falae National Chairman then to Asaba, I wrote for security support, accommodation and VIP vehicles. My request was granted immediately.
“You ended up making Baba Falae the Chairman of the birthday occasion.. irrespective of party differences then..You hosted us three days. That was when I dined with the who is who in the state and more. You are meek. You are loving. My personal relationship with you grew to one on one even after you left office as Governor.
“In you I have a father for life I am grateful Daddy on your 70th birthday, expect a good health now and always and you shall only be remembered for Good. Congratulations Sir. I am Dr. Oke Idawene your son the Messenger.” He recounted.
