In a significant demonstration of support for Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s administration in consolidation of MORE agenda, the Integrity Group of Delta State has officially inaugurated its Patani Local Government chapter and all the ten wards executives with a charge on members to intensify the propagation of MORE agenda at his grassroots level.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Oke Idawene, the Convener of Integrity Group, emphasized the group’s commitment to the governor’s vision, noting that the new chapter would strengthen grassroots support for initiatives under the MORE agenda and You Matter Charity Foundation.
Idawene thanked the community for their support and urged them to stay committed to the MORE agenda. He also praised the You Matter Charity Foundation, efforts which aligned with the governor’s goals of improving lives across the state.
“The newly launched Patani Chapter is expected to play an essential role in building awareness and mobilizing support for the MORE Agenda, contributing to a brighter, more secure, and prosperous future for Delta State.”
Mrs. Helen Arumala, woman leader, Pesegha ward in the LGA, expressed gratitude for the governor’s impactful actions in addressing local security concerns. She praised governor Oborevwori’s administration for making strides in restoring safety to the area, enabling farmers to resume their work without fear.
“Before Governor Oborevwori’s administration, insecurity was a serious issue that kept many of us from going to our farms. Thanks to his dedicated efforts, we now feel safe again. Women like us can return to our farms and provide for our families without fear.” Arumala testified.
She highlighted how security improvements have positively impacted the community’s agricultural activities, a vital part of their livelihood, commending the Integrity Group’s presence in Patani, adding that the support network would help foster unity and further the governor’s vision for prosperity.
The inauguration was attended by, Hon.Russia Tuebi Farka, Patani LGA woman leader of Integrity Group, Hon. Patricia Ekiiyor Asiyai, Hon Pastor Isaak Edahesse, Comrade Okorodudu Solomon, Comrade Afuruku Ebiotu and some members of the State Executive Council, Local Government Officials of Integrity Group, and key community leaders, including youths.
