A chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party PDP, in Oshimili South LGA, Chief Charles Uwajeh, aka Agbalusia Ngene, has been unveiled as a patron of Integrity Group of Delta State.
Addressing members of the group shortly after the unveiling, Uwajeh who is the treasurer of PDP in the state and a former chairman of the party in Oshimili South LGA, said he was delighted to identify with Integrity Group, which is dedicated in promoting the MORE agenda of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s administration.
He pledged continued support for the group’s mission which he pointed was in line with his aspiration even as he said that he will promote the group in Oshimili South LGA.
He expressed confidence on governor Oborevwori’s administration in the delivery of dividend of democracy just as he commended Integrity Group for promoting the governor’s achievements.
Earlier, the Convener of Integrity Group, Dr. Oke Idawene noted that Uwajeh’s track records of quality leadership especially in grassroots mobilisation, has endured him to the people hence the nomination as a patron of Integrity Group.
He commended Uwajeh for his love and believe for MORE agenda of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s administration noting that the MORE agenda has become a way of life in the state.
The Convener explained that Integrity Group was formed to act as a bridge between the government and the people noting that the goal of the group was to promote the MORE agenda and You Matter Charity Foundation to all nook and cranny of the state.
“Over the years we realised that government policies and programmes are not well articulated to the grassroots hence the needs to bridge the gap, that is why we set up the Integrity Group to promote government programmes and policies. That is why we are the MORE agenda and You Matter Charity Foundation ambassadors.” Idawene added.
Personalities on the entourage includes; Ogbueshi Chukwurah Allanah, Ogbueshi Ngozi Okolotu, Dr. Mrs. Ononuju Theresa Allanah, Director Women Affairs, Lady Nneka Orah, Deputy Woman Leader and Barrister Franca Executive Assistant On Legal Matters.
