His Royal Majesty, Barr. P. S. Erebulu Aduo 111, Pere of Kabowei Kingdom, has expressed appreciation for the members of Integrity Group of Delta State, the MORE agenda and You Matter Charity Foundation ambassadors saying the goal of the group aligned with his vision for the state.
The traditional ruler made the remarks at his palace in Patani, when he played host to members of Integrity Group who came to intimate and also seek his blessings in their tasks of propagating the achievements of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s administration.
Pere said he is not a politician but he supports good governance that is why he aligned with Integrity Group whose mission is to promote good governance being demonstrated by governor Sheriff Oborevwori.
In his words; “Let me start by welcoming the members of Integrity Group to my kingdom. I thank you for finding me worthy of this visit. The word Integrity is a strong word, it is synonymous with good governance. The support for MORE agenda is our goal because we want the governor to succeed and to also get re-elected in 2027.
“I must thank Integrity Group for standing by the governor despite the criticism, it shows that Deltans love the governor.”
He paid glowing tributes to the Convener of the group, Dr. Oke Idawene for his vision in putting likes mind together in support of the governor.
He said while referring to the Convener; “May you succeed in ensuring that Delta move forward. I pray for unity in the state. We are happy that our governor won the best governor award and I pray also that our state shall emerge as the best in the country.”
Earlier, Dr Idawene had told the monarch that the group was at the palace to officially inform him of it activities across the state in promoting the MORE agenda and working for the governor’s re-election come 2027.
“The inspiration of the group is governor Sheriff Oborevwori and his spirit is right here because this visit is significant. The group is supporting good governance and you cannot separate good governance from the traditional rulers. We are here to identify with you and to inform you of our activities as MORE agenda and You Matter Charity Foundation ambassadors.”
The event witnessed the formal declarations of Delta Ijaw Women in Politics for Integrity Group.
On ground to received the Integrity Group were; Hon. Patricia Asayai, Chairman, Agency for Adult and None Formal Education Board who also doubles as the Vice Woman Leader, Integrity Group, Delta South and Mr. Aguanah Ezonebi (JP), the Administrator, Patani LGA.
Highpoint of the visit was presentation of souvenir to the monarch.
