Passing Of Owhorhu I, Leaves A Void In Udu Communities … Uviejitobor

Commissioner for Oil and Gas, Delta State, Hon (Chief) Peter Uviejitobor, says the passing of His Royal Majesty, Emmanuel Bethel Otete Delekpe, Owhorhu I, has left a void in Udu communities.

Hon Uviejitobor, a former member of the Delta State House of Assembly and immediate past President-General, Union of Udu Communities, UUC, stated this in a statement on the passing of the Monarch.

The Commissioner paid tribute to the leadership, wisdom, courage and dedication of the transited Owhorhu 1, noting that his legacy as a custodian of culture and tradition of the people of Udu will forever be remembered.

Uviejitobor also stated that the guidance and mentorship of the late revered king have positively impacted countless lives.

The former Lawmaker offered his deepest condolences to the royal family and prayed to God to bless the great legacy of the passing Royal Majesty, Emmanuel Bethel Otete Delekpe, Owhorhu I.

He said, “painful as it is, I am delighted to pay tribute to the leadership, wisdom, and dedication of His Royal Majesty, Emmanuel Bethel Otete Delekpe, Owhorhu 1, whose passing was recently announced.

“His legacy as custodian of our culture and tradition will forever be remembered. May his memory continue to inspire us as a people. My condolences to the royal family”, Uviejitobor said.
