PDP Collapse For APC In Delta, Uviejitobor Lauds Decision

Commissioner for Oil and Gas, Delta State, Hon. (Chief) Peter Uviejitobor has said that collapsing the People’s Democratic Party, PDP structure for the All Progressive Congress, APC, in Delta State, was a wise decision.

Speaking at Otor-Udu, headquarters of Udu local government council, while addressing political stakeholders in the locality, Hon Uviejitobor stated that the shift in the political landscape, was a welcome development.

The Oil and Gas Commissioner lauded Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and the immediate past Governor of the state, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa for leading the pack of defectors from the PDP to the APC.

Saying that there was no reason for the PDP faithfuls in Delta State to remain in the party in the face of obvious irreconcilable issues at the national level of the party, Hon Uviejitobor said he had joined the Governor on his movement to the APC, together with family members, numerous followers and associates.

Uviejitobor, a two term member of the Delta State House of Assembly, commended other leaders and party faithfuls in Udu local government area for joining His Excellency, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori in the political voyage from PDP to APC.

He noted that the MORE agenda of the state government had been on auto cruise, even as he expressed optimism of a more prosperous Delta state with the renewed hope mantra of the federal government.

Hon Uviejitobor assured the Governor of a stronger political base in Udu local government area, stressing that every stakeholders in the area are united in their support for his reelection in 2027.
