Oborevwori’s Infrastructure Drive Receives A Boost Following Osamuta’s Confirmation Of Work Commencement On 10.8km Aboh-Akarai Concrete Road

Construction work has commenced on the 10.8 kilometer Aboh-Akarai Concrete Road with 100meters bridge at Okiri River in Ndokwa East local government area of Delta State.

The Member Representing Ndokwa East Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon Prince Emeka Osamuta, who had at the weekend made a brief appearance to the project site, disclosed that the soil test for the bridge has been concluded.

Hon Osamuta said the clearing of the road is ongoing, and that the road has already been bulldozed from Aboh, the headquarters of Ndokwa East to Akaria.

He also confirmed that the Dredger for dredging of sand for the road project has been moved to the river in Aboh as well as every other necessary equipment for the construction work, already positioned at the Akaria axis of the road and bridge project.

Hon Osamuta said in the coming days the bulldozing and clearing works will continue to the Akaria-Etiti end of the road.

Describing the development as a monumental breakthrough, the elated Lawmaker expressed profound gratitude to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for actualize a long-held dream of the people of Ndokwa East.

He said “I want to thank God almighty for what He is using our Governor do in Delta state, particularly in Ndokwa East local government area.

“Few weeks ago, construction of the 10.8 kilometer Aboh-Akarai Concrete Road with 100meters bridge at Okiri River, was approved by the Governor and State Executive Council.

“I am very very happy and excited to announce today that works have commenced on that road. The soil test on the bridge has been concluded and the bulldozing, clearing is ongoing as we speak.

“Just yesterday, I was reliably informed that the Dredger to supply the sand for the road work has been moved to the river Niger in Aboh. In the coming days we will see continuous bulldozing to Akaria-Etiti end of the road”, Osamuta explained.

The lawmaker who is the Chairman, House Committee on Warri, Uvie and Environs Areas Development Agency, expressed appreciation to Governor Oborevwori for keeping to his promises to the people.

“I want to profoundly thank His Excellency, Rt Hon (Elder) Sheriff F.O. Oborevwori for the work he is doing. He said it and he is doing it.

“I also extend my gratitude to his Deputy, a very wonderful and royal deputy, Sir Monday Onyeme. This is the first time we are producing a deputy governor from Ndokwa ethnic extraction and he has taken up the pains of the Ndokwa people. I want to thank him and pray that God in His infinite mercies blesses him and his household for his continuous support and his role in the approval of this project”, Osamuta stated.

The Lawmaker paid glowing tributes to the Speaker of the State Assembly, Rt Hon Emomotimi Dennis Guwor for the support and the constituents of Ndokwa East for believing in his capacity to raising standards of lives and infrastructure in the locality.

Promising never to relent in advancing democratic principles and dividends in Ndokwa East, Hon Osamuta appealed to the people to sustain their support for government at all levels.

He emphasized that the Aboh–Akarai road/bridge project, on completion will transform lives, boost infrastructure, enhance connectivity, stimulate economic growth, and open up the area to new opportunities.
