Delta Speaker Guwor Offers Condolences To Deputy Governor Onyeme On The Demise Of His Foster Father

The Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, has extended his heartfelt condolences to the State Deputy Governor, Sir Monday Onyeme, following the passing of his foster father, Mr. Danladi Ambi, who will be laid to rest today in his home town, Jagindi Tasha, Jemea Local Government area of Kaduna State.

The Speaker in a statement made available to newsmen by his Chief Press Secretary, Nkem Nwaeke, described late Mr. Ambi as a good man who made so much significant impact on the Deputy Governor’s life, particularly during his early years.

Rt Hon Guwor stated that the testimony of His Excellency, Sir Onyeme about the late foster father, highlights the importance of appreciating the positive influence of parental figures in shaping individuals’ lives.

He said late Mr Ambi left behind a legacy of love, care, and dedication to his family and community, stressing that the good deeds of the late octogenarian are worthy of emulation.

The Speaker prayed for the peaceful rest of the deceased’s soul and comfort for the grieving family.

“On behalf of the Delta State House of Assembly and its entirety, I extend our heartfelt condolences to Your Excellency, the Deputy Governor of Delta State, on the passing of your beloved foster father.

“May the memories of his life and legacy bring you comfort and strength during this difficult time. May his soul rest in peace, and may God grant you, your family, and that of late Papa Ambi, the peace that surpasses all understanding,” Guwor stated.

The late Mr. Danladi Ambi, aged 82, passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2025.
