Developmental Journalism: Ndokwa Media Professionals Forum Unveiled

The Ndokwa Media Professionals Forum (NMPF), has been officially inaugurated, marking a historic milestone in the collective journey of media practitioners of Ndokwa extraction.

The Forum was borne out of the pressing need to create a formidable, credible, and united platform for Ndokwa sons and daughters in the media space to harness their voices, build capacity, and contribute meaningfully to the growth and development of Ndokwa Nation.

With Comrade Barth Inneh-Ozah serving as the Interim Chairman, Comrade Odili Ogochukwu as the Interim Secretary, and Comrade Emmanuel Enebeli as the Board of Trustees (BOT) chairman, the Forum, fully registered with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), is now positioned to foster collaboration among members while projecting a strong image for Ndokwa in the media landscape.

The aims and objectives of the Ndokwa Media Professionals Forum include:

1. Engaging in activities that will encourage growth and positive visibility for Ndokwa Nation.

2. Establishing healthy relationships with government agencies, institutions, and stakeholders for mutual development.

3. Fostering peace and unity among members of the media profession.

4. Organizing seminars, workshops, events, and activities that promote knowledge-sharing and professional advancement.

5. Promoting the welfare and development of members.

6. Enhancing social interaction, cohesion, and solidarity among media professionals.

7. Supporting the development of media practitioners.

8. Enhancing media development efforts within and beyond Ndokwa Nation.

The Interim leadership called on all Ndokwa media professionals across print, broadcast, and online platforms to identify with this noble body, as it is structured to be an authority in the dissemination of credible information, as well as a rallying point for professional growth and societal progress.

The Forum remains committed to peace, unity, and development, both within the profession and in Ndokwa land at large.
