Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, has described the Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon. Arthur Akpowowo, as a pillar of support and a valuable partner in pushing the work of the legislature forward.
Rt. Hon. Guwor made this known in a goodwill message to the Deputy Speaker on his 54th birthday anniversary, which comes up today, 21 January 2026.
In a statement made available to newsmen by his Chief Press Secretary, Nkem Nwaeke, the Speaker extended his warmest felicitations and heartfelt wishes to Rt. Hon. Akpowowo as he turns 54.
He said the celebrant’s passion for service remains a key element in the legislative excellence and successes achieved by the 8th Assembly of the Delta State House of Assembly.
Guwor also commended the Deputy Speaker for his quality representation of the people of Ethiope East and his contributions to the development of the state.
He prayed for greater life fulfillments, saying, “Today, I join the family, friends, and well-wishers of my esteemed Deputy, Rt. Hon. Arthur Akpowowo, in celebrating his 54th birthday.
