Journalists covering the Delta State House of Assembly (DTHA) have congratulated the Speaker, Rt Hon Emomotimi Dennis Guwor on his emergence as Chairman, Conference of Speakers of States legislature in Nigeria.
The Journalists in a Statement in Asaba, noted that the Speaker’s emergence into the Chairmanship position was a clear testament of his leadership qualities
In the Statement made available by leader of the group and Pointer Correspondent in the State Assembly, Mr. Andrew Ikehi, the Journalists stressed that the Speaker’s emergence did not come to them as a surprise, adding that the Speaker had, over the years demonstrated uncommon leadership traits and humane disposition in the discharge of his duties and relationship with others.
While praying God to continue to endow him with more of His wisdom to pilot the affairs of the conference in the next two years, the Assembly Correspondents wished him well in the assignment.
The statement reads in part “Our dear Speaker; the Speaking Speaker, we gladly rejoice with you over your emergence as Chairman, Conference of Speakers of States legislature in Nigeria.
“The news, no doubt, didn’t come to us as a surprise. This is so because, your leadership qualities is second to none.
“You are indeed a proverbial Golden fish that has no hiding place. Your works speaks for you just as your uncompromised benevolence would continue to pave ways for you
“Like every other Delta, we rejoice with you as you have again, brought honour to not only the State House of Assembly, but the entire Delta State.
“Congratulations our Honourable Speaker and, friend of the Media. We are indeed, proud of you”
