Chairman, Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures in Nigeria and Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, has felicitated with the former Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, Rt Hon (Chief) Ndudi Elumelu, on his 61st birthday anniversary today, February 23, 2026.
Rt Hon Guwor, in a statement made available to newsmen in Abuja by his Chief Press Secretary, CPS, Nkem Nwaeke, congratulated the celebrant for his enviable life accomplishments at 61 and wished him well in years ahead.
The Speaker’s Conference Chairman and Speaker, Delta Assembly, acknowledged Rt Hon Elumelu’s dedication to public service, legislative excellence, and commitment to national growth and development.
Describing his trajectory as “truly inspiring”, Rt Hon Guwor maintained that the former lawmaker, who represented Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency, has experience, maturity, and statesmanship that are invaluable assets to Nigeria’s democratic journey.
“Elumelu’s sterling leadership and eloquence during his tenure as Minority Leader contributed significantly to the advancement of Nigeria’s legislative agenda. He has this unique passion for good governance and people-centered policies,” Guwor said.
The Speaker, on behalf of the Delta State Assembly, joined Elumelu’s family, friends, and well-wishers in celebrating the milestone and prayed to God to grant him continued good health, wisdom, and strength to keep serving humanity.
“On this special day, I wish Rt Hon Ndudi Elumelu a happy birthday and many more years of fruitful service to our nation,” Rt Hon Guwor stated.
