Deputy Speaker Akpowowo Hails APC’s New Exco In Delta

Rt. Hon. Arthur Akpowowo, Deputy Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, has expressed hearty congratulations to the newly elected leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Delta State Chapter, on their successful emergence at the just concluded state congress.

Rt Hon Akpowowo in a congratulatory message to the Chief Solomon Areyenka led 36 member state executive, said their election is a clear demonstration of the confidence and trust reposed in them by party faithful across the state.

The Deputy Speaker emphasized that their emergence also reflects the shared commitment of members to strengthen internal democracy and reposition the party for greater effectiveness and service to Deltans.

Akpowowo charged the new state Executive to embrace unity, inclusiveness, and purposeful leadership as they assume the responsibility of steering the affairs of the APC in Delta State.

“The task ahead requires collective resolve, strategic engagement, and unwavering dedication to the ideals of good governance, accountability, and development”, Akpowowo said.

The Deputy Speaker noted that Delta State stands at a critical juncture in its political journey, saying that the role of a vibrant and well-organized party structure, anchored on discipline and vision, cannot be overemphasized.

“I am confident that under the leadership of Chief Solomon Areyenka, the party will consolidate on its gains, expand its reach, and offer credible alternatives that will deepen democracy and promote the welfare of our people”, he said.
