A cerebral politician and Executive Assistant to the Governor of Delta State, Ambassador Andrew Omagbemi Igban, has congratulated Chief Solomon Areyenka on his emergence as the new State Chairman of the Delta State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Chief Areyenka emerged as the Chairman at the State Congress of the party held in Asaba on Tuesday, 3rd March 2026, marking a new phase of leadership for the APC in Delta State.
His emergence has continued to attract goodwill messages from party leaders and stakeholders within and outside the state.
In a goodwill message issued shortly after the congress, Ambassador Igban described the new Chairman, Chief Areyenka, as “a grassroots political colossus who has continually demonstrated exceptional leadership capacity over the years.”
According to the former party youth leader, “Chief Areyenka’s emergence is a reflection of the confidence party faithful have in his ability to reposition the APC for greater success in Delta State.”
He also described the new APC leader as a unifier, a bridge-builder, and a committed party man.
Igban further expressed optimism that under Areyenka’s leadership, the party would witness renewed strength and cohesion.
“I am confident that his wealth of experience and deep understanding of grassroots politics will energise our structures and enhance our chances in future electoral contests,” Igban stated.
The young political strategist urged members of the APC across the state to rally round the new chairman and support his administration.
“This is the time for unity and collective resolve. With Chief Areyenka at the helm, I believe the Delta APC is set for a stronger and more progressive future,” Igban added.
