Jolly Iguodala Turns a Year Older, Gets Birthday Shoutout from Delta Speaker’s CPS

Chief Press Secretary to Rt Hon Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly and National Chairman, Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures in Nigeria, Nkem Nwaeke, has felicitated with London-based socialite and philanthropist, Comrade Jolly Iguodala, as he turns a year older today, March 24, 2026.

Nwaeke, in a congratulatory message on the birthday of the former President of the Student Union Government, SUG, Delta State University, described the Edo-born Jolly Iguodala as an extraordinary brother and friend of over three and a half decades.

On his special day, Guwor’s CPS said it is a pleasure to join thousands of well-wishers in celebrating the jolly good fellow, whose remarkable leadership as President of the Association of Mass Communication Students at Auchi Polytechnic, Auchi in Edo State and President of the Student Union Government at Delta State University, Abraka, showcased his passion for excellence and service.

He said, “Jolly and I are not just fellow alumni of Auchi Polytechnic and Delta State University, but close brothers and friends. We share unique wonderful memories in our days in both institutions. God has been kind to us as the relationship continues to thrive. Good times together in Nigeria and UK”.

Nwaeke noted that the celebrant has evolved into a force to be reckoned with in politics, philanthropy, and international diplomacy, stressing that Jolly’s versatility and amiable nature have earned him recognition as a respected global voice and champion of positive change.

“We are celebrating a champion of excellence and service. Celebrating a distinguished son of Nigeria and a shining star on the global stage. Celebrating a life of purpose and impact. A proud alumnus of Auchi Polytechnic, Edo State, and Delta State University, Abraka, Jolly’s remarkable journey is truly commendable and will continue to inspire many.
