The Chairman, Delta State Board of Internal Revenue Service, Hon Solomon Ighrakpata, has felicitated with his predecessor in office and Deputy Governor of Delta State, Sir Monday Onyeme as he clocks 61 years today, March 30, 2026.
Hon Ighrakpata, a two-term member of the Delta State Assembly and former Deputy Chief Whip of the House, described Sir Onyeme as a visionary and exemplary leader whose life has been very impressive and impactful.
“I am delighted to extend my warmest congratulations to my predecessor in office and Deputy Governor of Delta State, Sir Monday John Onyeme, on the occasion of his 61st birthday.
“As the current Chairman of the Delta State Board of Internal Revenue Service, I am privileged to have followed in the footsteps of a leader who has set a high standard of excellence”, Ighrakpata said.
The IRS Boss stated that Sir Onyeme’s tenure as Deputy Governor of Delta State has also been marked by unwavering dedication, strategic vision, and a passion for service.
“On this special day of his birth anniversary, I celebrate his remarkable achievements and contributions to Delta State development,” Ighrakpata added.
The former Lawmaker prayed to God to grant the Deputy Governor many more years of good health, wisdom, joy, success, fulfillment, and the satisfaction of seeing the fruits of his labour.
