The leadership and members of the Delta State House of Assembly has commiserated with the Ogbaburhon family of Udu over the death of Chief Austin Ogbaburhon (JP).
The Speaker, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, at plenary, prayed God to grant the soul of the former federal Lawmaker eternal rest and enjoined members to participate actively in the rites of passage as announced by the family.
The Member Representing Udu Constituency, Hon Peter Uviejitobor had at Wednesday’s plenary of the house, brought to the notice of the State Legislature of the demise of Chief Austin Ogbaburhon (JP).
Coming under the item, “Personal Explanation”, Hon Uviejitobor informed the house that Chief Ogbaburhon (JP) died on the 25th June 2020.
He said Service of Songs in honor of the former federal lawmaker has been scheduled for 31st July, while he will be buried on Saturday, 1st of August 2020.
Hon Uviejitobor enjoined his colleagues to be a part of the scheduled events to accord their last respect to the late former Member of the National Assembly.
Chief Austin Ogbaburhon (JP) represented Ughelli North, Ughelli South and Udu federal Constituency between 2011 and 2015 in the House of Representative.
