Southern Nigeria Governors Meets In Asaba, National Security Top Agenda

Members of the Southern Nigeria Governors Forum, numbering about seventeen of them, are at the moment in a crucial meeting at the Exco Chambers, Government House, Asaba, to deliberate on critical national issues, including vexed insecurity in Nigeria.

The Chief Host and Platinum Governor of Delta State, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, and other governors may address the press after their deliberations. Journalists are eagerly waiting for the resolution cum statement by the governors, which may also reflect on the economy, politics, and allied matters.

The Southern Nigeria Governors Forum, comprises of Governors from South West, South East and South-South States of Nigeria.
Their coming together may be connected with the drifting state of the nation occasioned by acute insecurity, dwindling economy and how to join efforts with the federal government to save Nigeria, from the foreseeable impending danger of disintegration.
